Nore Valley Park began the School Incubator Project in 2014, proving to be tremendously popular they now provide an educational programme to almost 100 schools per year, across 12 counties. Nore Valley Park also provides schools with educational videos for the children to watch. Crehana NS participated in this project 4 years ago and it was such a great success we have decided to do it again this year !!
We have an incubator with 7 eggs and these eggs are due to hatch on February 7th !! The children and staff are all very excited and can’t wait to see the new chicks. The chicks will remain in the school for two weeks after hatching and will then return to the park. Children may then go to Nore Valley Park with their parents if they like to see the Crehana chicks there. We will post photos of the chicks next week when they hatch !! Thanks to our wonderful school secretary Breda who organised the project.
