I am writing to you to let you know that we are celebrating National Squeeze in a Read on February 25th by running a Children’s Book Review Competition in Carrick-on-Suir Library.
To enter all the child will need to do is:
- Take the pledge to read at www.irelandreads.ie
- Read a book on February 25th
- Write a review and/or draw a picture
- Snap & send the entry to carricklibrary@tipperarycoco.ie or
- Drop the entry into Supervalu, Carrick-on-Suir
We have three categories;
- 4-6 year olds
- 7-9 year olds
- 10-12 year olds
For each category there are 2 prizes to be won; a €30 and €20 book voucher. All entries will be displayed in our library, our Facebook page and we will also compile a booklet of the children’s reviews. Closing date is Friday March 5th at 5 pm. Please encourage your students to participate in this exciting event.
