Anti-Bullying Week

Anti-Bullying Week (ABW) is dedicated to raising awareness about bullying and how to prevent it. It was created by the Anti-Bullying Alliance in 2004 and has been supported ever since. The objectives of anti-bullying week include;

  • Raising awareness of bullying and the effect it has on the lives of young people.
  • To create an environment where everyone understands that bullying is not acceptable.
  • To ensure adults and young people know how to address bullying.

This week our school community took the opportunity to “drop everything and reflect” on the link between our school’s values e.g. kindness and respect and how these values can prevent and address bullying. Our message is to Reach out to help and reach out to ask for help.
